About Me

I hold a B.S. in French and ecology (2012) and an M.A. (2015) and Ph.D. (2019) in environmental history from the Ohio State University. As an instructor and professor, I independently developed eight undergraduate courses, five of which were online, and created multiple hour-long lectures each week. While teaching, I completed a book-length dissertation, entitled Caledonian Coast, from my research on Scottish coastal ecosystems. I continue to write, as well as dabbling in digital design and artwork. My academic work is representative of both my background in environmental studies and history and my personal interests in animals, gardening, baking, and travel.
